Life is busy and getting everything done in the day is sometimes hard in itself. Adding all your ideals in with it may seem impossible. Complete everything you want to with these tips.
Here is how to complete everything you want to in a day
1. Write Everything You’d Want to Get Done Down
First, write everything down that you’d ideally want to do during the day or week. Get detailed with this, including how often you want to do everything. This is the master list you will base everything else off of.
Take some time to think about this. Write it all down even if your list seems overwhelming or impossible to complete.
2. Break Them Up Into Groups
Next, break it up into what needs to be done and what would be nice to get done. Once this is done, make a map of what will get done each day of the week.
This will take some time to complete. Don’t be afraid to tweak things around. Be realistic about what can get done in a day. See where you can delegate some tasks, make tasks easier, or where you are able to free up some time.
3. Do Something Less Fun Then Do Something For Yourself
Now, it’s time to write down the order you’d like to do it in. Typically when writing them down you’ll feel and recognize if it’s something you’ll want to do or if it’ll take some convincing to actually get it done.
If there’s anything that sticks out to you that you’re not necessarily excited to do, focus on how you’re going to include that into your day. Try doing something something for yourself during or after you complete those tasks. If you like to listen to podcasts or audiobooks try waiting to do that until you’re doing those tasks. If you’re wanting to watch a video or show wait till during if able or after you complete the task to do so.
4. If You Can Break It Up
You can also try to break up the tasks that aren’t as fun throughout the day to give yourself breaks. Slowly chip away at those tasks so that you do not get burnt out. If you’re someone who can get yourself to do a given task and you don’t struggle starting this may be a great option if your schedule allows it.
5. Be Realistic and Slowly Add More Things Into Your Day
When you start slow and gradually add things to your plate you are less likely to get overwhelmed and completely give up.
Typically, you will have time to complete everything you want to in the day. Learning how to schedule your time and use it to your advantage will make fitting everything into your schedule easier. If you’re someone who struggles with wasting too much time on your phone or really anything that isn’t beneficial. Try and find ways to limit the time you can spend on those given things.
6. Recognize Your Habits So You Can Work with Them
If you notice you work better at certain times or if you know you work better with someone being there with you work those to your advantage. Anything you notice that will help you be productive lean into it so that completing everything you want to do will come easier to you.
